Welcome to Lyndhurst Junior School – A Kings Group Academy

21st March 2020

Dear Parents/Carers

We have been inundated with emails from parents insisting they have a right to send their child to school on Monday. Please be clear, this is not the case. You must only send your child to school on Monday if you receive notification from the school that your child has been allocated a place.

Places for Monday have been allocated to some children to allow parents to gather evidence that they are a critical worker.  Please ensure evidence is provided for both parents, as if at all possible your children will be safer at home.

I am sorry, but we do not currently have the capacity to accommodate every request. This will mean that we may need to turn some children away on Monday morning (and each day thereafter). We will regularly review our register and if a place becomes available, or if our capacity can increase I will of course contact you.

Many thanks for the support you have given us. Please remember to stay healthy and to keep in touch with us.

Best wishes,

Ms Beechurst & Mrs Anderson

As the first school in the King’s Group Academy Multi Academy Trust we are proud to be working with other schools, locally and internationally, especially College Park Infant School. This close working relationship is vital to meet the needs of our children and families, and to support our journey of continued improvement.
